Pressures in Westminster are ascending as MPs get ready for Theresa May’s Brexit arrangement to return before the Commons.
After Remainer Tory MP Anna Soubry was mishandled and marked a “Nazi” by Brexiteer nonconformists, additional police were on obligation outside Parliament on Tuesday. It came as 55 MPs on all sides of the House wrote to Met Police official Cressida Dick to express their “genuine worries” about the “breaking down open request and security circumstance” outside Parliament.
